Hermes

This is the story about Hermes, Hermes has been in more stories than anyone in Greek mythology, mainly because he is Zeus' herald and messenger. Now this is his story when he was a new born baby. Hermes is a very mischievous god. He is the God of Thieves, Messengers, and Speed. Now as a baby he was still this way. So he decided he would steal a few of his step-brother, Apollo's, sacred cows. He crawled all the way to the cattle and got them to walk backwards in his footsteps so it would look like he was just visiting them instead of stealing them, now during all of this his Mother Maia was sleeping. So Hermes snuck back in a hide the cattle. Little did he know that Zeus, his father, was watching him. Apollo said to Zeus that someone had stolen his sacred cattle and Zeus seeing the whole thing demanded Hermes give back his cattle, but baby Hermes had other plans, he had found a turtle shell and attached 5 strings top to bottom on the shell, he called this a Lyre. He said that he would give Apollo the lyre of he could have the cattle. Apollo agreed to this and took the lyre. This was just the first of Hermes mischeif later on in the stories.

Artemis

Goddess of the Hunt. She is not related to Zeus or his siblings in any way. She was a daughter of a different Titan. Her father's name is Talos. but I'm not going to go into to much detail with him. Now Artemis is a very skilled hunter and is normally seen either holding a stag as a trophy or holding a bow and arrow aimed and ready to fire. She is known as a huntress and is the leader of the Hunters. The Hunters are a group of daughters of the Gods. The Hunters have a story about the hunt of the Mandacore. The Mandacore is a creature that has the head of a human, but the body of a lion. Artemis and The Hunters are very swift of foot. For example you maybe a monster and you are hiding from The Hunters so your walking through the forest and you think you see something but you think it is just a bird. Big mistake! The next thing you know is that you are in the realm of Tartarus. Tartarus is basically hell in Greek mythology. Now the Hunters found the Mandacore drinking from a river then suddenly the Mandacore dies. The Hunters were shocked to see that Artemis was gone, they then looked back at the Mandacore but it was gone too. Later they returned to their house and saw Artemis shaving the fur off a headless Mandacore. Hm, go figure.

Poseidon

Poseidon the God of the Sea. Poseidon's story is the same as his brother Zeus, the only difference is that he was swallowed by Cronus, his father. His story is the same from after he is thrown upped, so I will tell you a different story with Poseidon. Long after the Techonomy, Poseidon found a city trying to find out whitch God they should hail the most and make a temple for. 2 Gods stepped up to the plate, Athena, and, you guessed it Poseidon. They were given the challenge to give a gift to the city and whoevers gift the people liked the most would be the God they chose. Athena gave them an apple tree that grew 50 apples a day, and Poseidon, off the top of his head, gave the people a... fountain. Well turns out the people liked the tree better so they were then named the city The Athens. Poseidon was furrious. He scarred Athena so much that Athena ran away but Poseidon turned himself into a stallion and chased down Athena. Poseidon then decided that he would make the creature a species and asked Zeus if his wish could become true, Zeus who was in a good mood agreed to this and Poseidon made as many as he could. Still holding a grudge every year he would bring The Athens a huge tidal wave and a sea monster to attack them.

Zeus

Zeus the God of the Gods! Zeus is the king of Mt. Olympus, the kingdom of the Gods. Now for Zeus it is only fair to start at the beginning of his story, before mortal humans were on the Earth there was a group of Gods the first ever known as the Titans. The Titans then had children. There was one Titan named Cronus who married his sister Rhea, together they had 5 children, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hera, and Hestia. Hades was the first child now, Cronus was told that his throne would be overturned by one of his children. Now to avoid this he swallowed each one whole. Zeus was then born and Rhea was tired of her husband eating her children so she hatched a plan to keep Zeus alive. Now just to clear this up the other children were not killed when swallowed because they are immortal. They just grew up inside of their father's stomach. So Rhea's plan was to give Cronus a rock instead of Zeus and then take Zeus to the island of Calypso. Cronus took the rock without even looking. Zeus then grew up and hatched his own plan to get his siblings back. He made a potion and pretended to be one of Cronus' servants. He gave him the potion and Cronus threw up all of his children and the rock Rhea had gave him. The children then teamed up and fought a battle that lasted 10 years known as the Techonomy.
